My old pump was a 530 gpm. This one is 1000 gpm. WAY better pump! It cleans the pool in no time at all. It is rugged and I have not had a single problem with it. And I'm glad it had hoses with it as one of my old ones had a crack in it. I put the new hoses on and was ready to go in no time. I highly recommend this pump!!

Do not buy this product from CMS. I bought it and they added 2nd day shipping which I didn't order. By the time I found out what they had done, it had already shipped, and they would not refund the additional shipping cost. Very underhanded. I ended up paying more for the shipping than for the product itself. Do yourself a favor and pick another merchant and do not buy this from CMS.

Purchased a round 8'x 30" pool for grandkids to play in. Didn't give thought of filtration system and quickly became cloudy looking. Made this purchased and hung hoses over the side. Within a few days, along with proper chemicals, the pool became crystal clear and is now maintained perfectly. I do have to re-prime the pump by use of a garden hose before each start up because it's not installed within the pool wall and is above water level.

I purchase this item and I put it to work.I follow the directions in how to use: less than 6 hrs of use everyday. I set up for 5 hrs. and suddenly, after 2 weeks IT STOPPED WORKING. First stared making funny noises, later just stopped working for complete.
I have to get a different brand -this one is not good. It was my second pump of the same brand in less of 2 summers.
