My sister had this toy at her house for her kids and when I took my 8 month old daughter over to play, she discovered it and LOVED it!! Of course I had to get her one and ever since then its been her favorite. I love that it plays in english and spanish and has different settings. Other than teaching the alphabet, there is also a setting for dancing and when it says to clap my daughter claps along! My husband and I were amazed!! Great Buy!!!!

My son got it for Christmas last year when he was six months old. He never really played with it. Sound isn't that great...the batteries just died and it sits there in the toy box.

We've had this toy for about a year. My son (now 1½ old) has never given this toy much play time. I can't say I blame him. I purchased this thinking it would be a good learning toy, but also a drum that he could bang on and make some noise with...not so. While it is a decent learning tool (the letters light up brightly and the voice is clear in it's pronunciation), the drum portion is absolutely useless. When set on the drum setting, banging on it only produces the faintest little tapping noise while lights stream across the top. Those lights will hold his attention for a few minutes, but once he sees that he can't make much noise with it, it gets pushed aside. Overall, I can't say I recommend this. The idea was a good one, but they just didn't execute it very well. If you're looking for a drum, buy a drum. If you're looking for an ABC learning toy, there are many out there, but the two together (at least in this case) just don't make a very exciting toy.

Probably wouldn't buy this item again. It doesn't get very loud. Feels durable. I guess if our 19 month old would sit still for longer than 3 minutes she might enjoy this item more.

I don't like this toy, because it tries to pack too much into one toy. Yes, exposing children to numbers and letters early on is good, and this toy will definitely get their attention, but I think the LED letters and numbers on top of the music are just too much at once. Maybe if you could turn off the background music and listen only to the numbers or letters, it would make a little more sense.
