"Star Wars Clone Wars Ultimate Light Saber" 2009-10-12
By KEN TELLS ALL (NYC)
My 9 year old loves it. It is very durable and allows him to design different light saber models. It was reasonably priced as compared to the more expensive models on the Amazon website. Has 3 different colored lights and different sounds. If your child loved Star Wars, he/she will love this light saber! May the Force be with you !

"Glad we purchased this toy" 2009-10-12
By R. Wells
My son asked me to write a review and tell how good this product is. It is very strong if you hit things and it makes sounds when you hit things. You can build many different kinds of lightsabers. He likes how it lights up in the dark. He recommends other people should buy it.

"One year later, 11yo son is still playing with it!" 2009-09-07
By Tiffany D. White (Kansas, USA)
I purchased this product for xmas 2008. My son has since played with it and never broken it or lost any of the pieces. It still works as intended. It is a wonderful toy for Star Wars fans that like to play lightsabers. I was very impressed with this toy. It looked a little daunting at first, but my then 10yo easily grabbed pieces and began making different lightsabers for each Star Wars character. As fast as boys grow, this is a wonderful present to them as they will use it a year or more so far! It just keeps on being a favorite toy with all the combinations they can make. Highly recommended!

 "Fun Light Saber!" 2009-08-09
By cops wife (Athens)
This was a big surprise for my little boys bday. He loves it and is so creative with it. That's why I gave it 4 stars on educational value. He's not inside under the TV or video games all day long. He has his Laser Tag now, light saber and other new toys that he can go outside and play with rather than stay inside and eat all day. Wonderful choice and highly recommended. Lots of different attachments that he can figure out on his own. IMAGINATION!!

"my 11 y/o absolutely LOVES this saber!!" 2009-07-09
By Teresa Platz (MN)
He previously has had the expensive movie replica, and cheaper toy ones. This one is right up the middle. Very reasonably priced and he loves all the color and handle options. It's definitely more durable than the previous toy versions. He really, really likes this!!

"Great, but a little pricey for what you get." 2009-08-20
By Nikki (Louisville, KY)
We got this set for our five-year-old son last christmas and he absolutely loves it. We have lots of fun building things together and using our imaginations. The only bad thing I can say about this set, is that you get very few legos and and a big box. I'm hoping that we can get another set to add to it and fill this box up.

"Building Base Plate for Ultimate Lego" 2009-07-21
By Calywi430 (NYC)
This is a great starter set but I don't consider it to be "ultimate." Not a lot of pieces for the price. I purchased this for a 4 year old because I'd read that it was a great toy to keep kids busy and creative. I also did a lot of research on the building bases that are sold on Amazon, but I mistakenly thought that the building base plate *in this set* was 16" by 16" wide and not 16 by 16 studs which works out to about 3" by 3". Yes, it is mentioned in the product description but the only Legos I've seen prior to this were much larger, approximately 1"-2" wide. Just a heads up to anyone who isn't knowledgeable about toys: a decent size building base has to be purchased separately.

"Perfect Starter Set! Durable Sturdy Storage Tote!" 2009-07-17
By xoxo (AL USA)
Just enough lego to get you started. It's the perefect gift! And the reusable storage bucket is an added benefit. No more lost pieces, easy to carry around! Great for homeschooling and autistic resource.

By VeryTinyLadyBug (Heart of Texas)
It's Legos! Everybody loves Legos. It doesnt break. It last forever. My 4 and 6 years old boys love them. I need to supervise those tiny pieces to make sure they put those tiny pieces back in the tub or they will be lost in the house! They lost two tiny pieces before and I found them about three or four days later in the washing machine after the laundry was done! (it was in their pocket or something, ha!)

 "Great for Lego Lovers" 2009-06-03
By Army Wife (Germany)
I bought this for my 4 year old son for his birthday. He loves legos. This tote keeps everything together and in one place. I wish they offered a box with more legos in it. 400 seems like a lot but really we needed more. All of my children love building and using the legos for fun and math.

"A Toy Not Made In China" 2009-08-06
By HappyLittleMommyAndTwoBoy (Kentucky United States)
My son loves these blocks. He is 2 and 1/2. He loves to build tall things with them. Plus we like to go over colors and count with him when he plays with these blocks. I love Lego's and I am so glad that they are still around. Also Legos are not made in China, but in Poland (I believe, I would look at the box, but I can't get up right now). Which I think is great. I have noticed that Amazon had these priced a little high, but the price has gone down recently. Great toy!

"Great for all ages and stages!" 2009-08-03
By Fiona Bessey-Bushnell (VA USA)
This bucket of Legos/Duplos is great for starting out. We have slowly added to this collection. There are just so many things you can DO with Legos! Sort by color, and shape! Oh, and take apart and build! We build not only buildings, but cars, roads, bridges, and even pretend food (we have rectangular apples in our house) and they know not to eat them! If your kids are into a lot of building, or you have more than one child, then you may need to get another base plate to supplement this set. To qwell the demolition side of your kids, building towers and other structures and then crashing into them with various vehicles is also big entertainment. Additionally, this really helps children with fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination, and even foundations for geometry concepts!

I do think this set is a little pricy on Amazon - we got ours as a gift that was purchased at Wal-Mart.

 "Ultimate Legos" 2009-06-20
By R. J. Easter (Boulder, CO USA)
Our grandson (18 mos.) loves playing with his Lego Duplo Building set. He is learning how to put them together and take them apart. He is also learning to identify different colors. Well worth the money.

"Two HOURS of fun on a plane ride" 2009-06-04
By JudiAU (Los Angeles)
My son turned two the day we took a long flight. He played with the bricks for TWO HOURS on the plane. He loves, loves the bricks, both by themselves and with a few characters purchased as part of another set. The characters go a long way.

This is a nice little set with all of the basic bricks needed plus the fun of a small building plate and a person. We also bought a large building plate 15 X 15 which is great.
